US PIZZA - USJ Taipan — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

As far as the pizzas go, US Pizza does theirs pretty well. Good variety of choices and ingredients are fresh. Their pizzas are of the thin crust type and with generous amount of cheese. We didn't try anything else besides the two large pizzas. Chicken with mushroom in tomato pizza had loads of mushrooms which was great but the Italian Aloha pizza probably shaded it in terms of taste. Another highlight is the giant Tabasco sized bottle on each table... Take my money!

Except... two things that fell short of my expectations: Could feel the "begrudging" service feeling over the counter. It was the first time here for us and hence I needed a bit more time to figure out the menu which was in the form of laminated paper only available at the counter. Cashier/supervisor in charge was at pains to emphasise that the wait for the pizza was about 30min which would have to be more than the 15min guarantee shown on the laminated menu. I think it's good to set that expectation but in the same token, what's the point of having a guarantee on the preparation time and can...

Disappointed with Hygiene Standards

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves attention. During my recent visit, I was appalled by the poor hygiene of the utensils provided. The cutlery and plates had visible stains and grease marks, clearly showing they were not properly washed. I even noticed food residue stuck to a spoon, going around tables looking for clean spoon — completely unacceptable for any food establishment.

Cleanliness is the most basic expectation when dining out. It’s disappointing because hygiene reflects how much a restaurant respects its customers. No matter how good the food might be, unhygienic utensils ruin the entire experience and raise concerns about kitchen cleanliness too.

Until the management takes hygiene seriously and ensures all utensils are properly sanitized, I cannot recommend this place...

Had a great experience at US Pizza in Taipan, Subang Jaya. I dropped by in the evening around 6PM, and the ambience was peaceful .

There were no other dine-in customers at that time , it was mostly online orders and delivery riders picking up, which made the space calm and comfortable.

I ordered their personal pizza with breadsticks and an ice lemon tea. The food came out hot and fresh within a few minutes. The pizza had a delicious thin crust, and the breadsticks were soft with just the right texture . The whole meal cost only RM17.60, which is great value.

This place definitely feels underrated. If you enjoy thin crust pizza and want a quiet spot with quick service, give US Pizza a try it deserves...
