Saffron Cafe' — Restaurant in Malé

Food is very good. But the service is horrible. My order was placed 10:32am via take.app and got it delivered around 12:40pm. I sent them a message thru whatsapp right after I placed the order. After more than an hour, I messaged them again asking for an update. Unfortunately, the person who responded seems like he/she doesn't care at all or maybe doesn't know how to respond properly. I called them on their phone number given on the page and again, someone answered unprofessionally or you can say who doesn't care at all. After few seconds a nice lady took the phone and I spoke with her, she was very nice but am not sure if she did lie intentionally or also not aware of what was goin on as she said that their whatsapp is not working so I have to send a message on viber. But I told her that someone is responding thru whatsapp so I don't think something is wrong. And when I got my order after 2hours of waiting, the drink was missing. I understand that there are lots of customers out there, but at least provide a polite and response. Not my first time to order by the way but today was too much.. I can wait and I usually wait for more than an hour and it was fine. We also have to understand. But 2hours of waiting with a missing item is clearly unacceptable. They were extremely good when they started but now they are veyy bad. The food is being cooked many times. Like the chicken being re heated and fried many times over and over. The prices keep sky rocketing. The worst is their delivery. They tell you that the delivery will be 40 min but it will take 1 hour 15 to 20 min. Ordered a spaghetti and a nasigoreng and some shorteats. The food was okaay. The customer service was horrible. The person who answered the call grunts like as if he has something stuck down his throat and answers in a rude tone to simple questions. Asked for utensils as well which the café seenzoned right away. I texted again after delivery regarding the utensils and they still seenzoned me. Don't think we'll be ordering...
