I associate Mġarr with having excellent places to eat. However, in the case of Pizza Marina, I think that a good business opportunity is being wasted. Given the low prices and the excellent location of Pizza Marina due to its proximity to the ferry terminal, there is a lot of potential for profit - if only the complaints and criticisms here were addressed. There are many excellent restaurants in Mgarr, Gozo - but this isn't one of them. Service is exceptionally slow. Food quality no better than that produced from a blind teenage cook randomly putting things together with bland, ordinary taste. Finally, it's not very clean - tables and cutlery were dirty. Awful experience. I ate here yesterday, after having one of the pizzas. Ingredients are just thrown onto the "pizza", some of which - such as onions - were uncooked and tasted completely raw. Service couldn't have been slower, we waited almost 15 minutes just to have our order taken. Our table was dirty too and wasn't cleaned by staff before use as it should have been (they brought us to that specific table)....
