I am a single male traveller visiting Sliema at least once a year and a highlight is my visits to Posh Turkish, where I eat alternate evenings. I love Kebab and tell people in the UK if they visit Malta, they must visit what I regard as the best Turkish food anywhere, Posh Turkish. I am a seasoned traveller and not eaten better Turkish. However I have just returned from a week in Sliema and was very disappointed on my third visit. Whether the meal costs me 10 euro or 20+ euro I leave a 5 euro tip. Not extravagant perhaps, but I would like to think it gets me a smile the next time I visit. I have tried many of their dishes (recommend their Pide) but on this occasion, at a loss to what to have, I asked the guy doing the food preparation (and someone I have spoken to many times) what he considered was the best dish. He replied and I didn't understand what he said, I asked him to repeat again I didn't understand. Stood less than a metre away was a female colleague who took the orders and at that time was not serving anyone. I asked if he would tell his colleague what I wanted and he replied "I'm too busy", in a not very nice manner. An absolute "Ar$@l£". He only had to turn his head and say a couple of words. Anyway I left never to return, I was really p!$$£d off. Morale...leaving a tip or being a regular customer doesn't get you any better thought of! I've taken one star off the rating because of this individual, but it remains a great eatery but not a place I shall visit again....

Simply awesome. Be it the taste of food or quality or quantity or the friendliness of the staff , everything top notch. The guys behind the counter will patiently explain what is what without any inhibition. The shop is open late night also which is a big boon. We went for doner chicken plate, the price was around 9.50 € initially we thought it was on higher end but turned out two of us even cannot finish it. Chicken is accompanied with 6 other options that we can choose like salads, coleslaw, sauce, rice, bread, fries etc etc. Huge portions and excellent taste.
