This place offers a product, which is different from offering a service. When you offer a service, you value client feedback and you dedicate an effort to take it into account in the way you do business. I have been a client of this place for years but this summer I went there more than usual and I focused on milkshakes. Their pistachio ice cream is good. However, the quality of the milkshake depends on their mood. They call the ice cream unit a scoop however they use an ice cream spade . As a result their so called scoop is not of the same size always, and their milkshake is often too liquid. Sometimes it is fine and I only require to maintain that level. I did not ask for any extra. Nevertheless, when I point to this irregularity in the milkshake, most of them (with exception of one nice employee) refuse to listen and refuse to even acknowledge that there is an irregularity in the service. They keep saying "no" to the facts I share and start talking between each other and interrupt my speech when I am speaking. This has happened already twice within a few weeks. I must say it is unprofessional and rude and such employees are not fit for client facing. Instead of correcting this irregularity by making sure they blend the same amount of ice cream with the milk, they keep telling "we put always two scoops", ignoring thus the issue. Moreover, they suggested I buy an additional scoop if I want the milkshake to be thicker. The problem is that if they are not reliable in the quantities they use, how paying more can solve the problem? Do I have to pay more so that they listen to my feedback as well? What a nonsense. Finally, today they guy who served me told me that If I don't like it, I can go to other shops. I can easily say that if if he does not know how to work with clients, he can go work in another place. Anyway, I do not blame just the employees. It is all a consequence of the quality of recruitment and directions they receive from the boss. If the management cared, they would direct their employees to listen to the client. today, I even had the impression the guy made the scoops smaller than usual on purpose. The last two times he served me milkshake, it was fine. So why today it wasn't? I had to ask him to put less milk in order to save the thickness of the milkshake, however, it did not fill the whole cup. I pointed at this problem to him and his reply was that he can add milk to completed the kip. So he skipped completely the issue. I wonder if this is an intelligence problem. They are just there working like a robot programmed with no error exceptions. So they are virtually always right. This really shows they do not care about client experience. They just want to show off their fresh ingredients as if it is the achievement of...
Read moreGelato is good. Unfortunately, customer service was very bad. There is this blond lady in her 50s she seems to be there forced honestly. A few times that I went there, she doesn’t even look at your eyes and barely reply back to you with rude comments. Not friendly at all and not only once. Could be she had one bad day…but doesn’t seem the case. Very sad to see people not appreciating their job and providing you a really bad...
Read moreDelicious! An amazing selection of different gelato which you can spend ages just looking at the different tastes you can try, from the normal flavours to even inventive ones such as caramel popcorn. Unfortunately not a great experience with the server. It was late, but he didn't speak nor seemed to care to be there which is a bit disappointing. The gelato on the other hand was tasty. Really glad...
