I recently had the pleasure of dining at a marvelous restaurant with a breathtaking terrace overlooking the sea. From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the stunning views and the luxurious ambiance that enveloped the entire space.

To start, the atmosphere of the restaurant was unparalleled. The terrace offered unparalleled vistas of the enchanting coastline, as the sun gently dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the entire area. The design of the terrace was immaculate, with comfortable seating and elegant decor that effortlessly blended with the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Moving onto the service, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance to the moment I left, I felt truly valued as a guest. The wait staff was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, guiding me through the countless tantalizing options in a warm and genuine manner. Their recommendations were spot-on, and every dish exceeded my expectations.

Speaking of the menu, it showcased an impressive variety of both international and local dishes, each prepared with finesse and creativity. Whether you are a seafood enthusiast or prefer meat or vegetarian options, this restaurant has it all. I opted for a seafood platter, which was a delectable medley of fresh oysters, succulent prawns, and delicate fish, all expertly cooked to perfection. The quality and flavor of the ingredients were simply outstanding.

The attention to detail in each dish was evident, with vibrant colors, artistic presentation, and a harmonious balance of flavors. The menu also featured a wide selection of wines, curated to complement the dishes perfectly. My chosen wine, a crisp and refreshing white, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already delightful dining experience.

Lastly, I must praise the dessert selection. The restaurant's pastry chef showcased their culinary prowess through a mouthwatering array of sweet treats. From a decadent chocolate mousse to a light and refreshing fruit tart, each dessert was a fitting finale that left me satisfied and longing for more.

On Fri 17th Aug my wife, dear friend & I visited, having booked a table. I had already checked the restaurant location & reviews before leaving the England, so had built a picture of what to expect. The Friday evening was also the Xlendii Sunset Music Festival. What an evening....wonderful!

We arrived just in time for sunset. The place had such a wonderful ambience & romantic feel. We were seated outside & wow what views!

The food was excellent, the service exceptional, cleanliness spot on, staff so lovely & helpful. After being sat down for a while, something stood out for me which was exceptional. Something that had never jumped out at me in other Restaurants over time - the coordinated team work which was going on with ALL the staff. It took me a few seconds to work out who was the Manager. His attentive eyes were everywhere to ensure guest were looked after, used dishes were collected in a timely manner, done by himself many times & other times discreetly directed various staff. All the staff worked like a carefully choregraphed show. One of the staff even obliged taking some group shots of us at our table despite his relentless busy work, which was much appreciated.

The way ALL the staff worked truly stood out, which resulted in top notch service for our 3 course meal & an unforgettable experience. So much so, that I had to call the Manager over & compliment him on the way he & his colleagues ran the operations. Whilst I praised him, he made it immediately clear that it was down to the excellent team & team work. That much really stands out. Such a credit to all of them. I do not hesitate to recommend a visit to the Terrazzo Restaurant. We are hoping to return for another holiday to Gozo & we will be back for a return visit.

We all had Seared Tuna for starters, Rib-Eye Steak, Seabass & Beef Short Ribs. All the food was beautiful but the 6 hr braised Beef Short Ribs with button mushrooms, pancetta & truffle mash stood out as 'exceptional'. The flavours were outstanding with all of us trying & immediately uttering "Wow!".

Our time at the Terrazzo Restaurant was truly a memorable occasion, which we will never forget. The picture I had built from my research was far exceeded. Book yourselves a special experience, you...

We had lunch here today - the food was delicious and the portions were big. Definitely give a try to the crab sliders, they were our favourites, as well as the cozze.

The restaurant has a very good location, try to get a table outside towards the front in order to get the best view.

Special thanks to our two waiters (a gentleman and a lady with brown hair in a pony tail)- who were absolutely lovely and attentive. I am sorry I didn't get their names as well.

The ONLY reason why I gave an overall 2 star review is because of the manager Elvis (young chap with glasses), who treated our family with the most arrogant and dismissive attitude I have ever experienced from someone working in hospitality. He made us stand up from the table where we sat down because it "was reserved" for a bigger group and made a scene in front of the rest of the guests (everyone was looking at us), although there was no reservation sign. Only for 5 minutes later for another small group of ladies to seat at the exact same table - but they were not told the table is reserved. Instead, they just took away the extra table attached. I don't understand how for the second group 5 minutes later they were so accommodating and kind, while to us exactly the opposite. When I paid at the end, I asked the manager if he could tell me his name, only for him to REFUSE to answer, telling me I am not allowed to know it and he does not want to give it to me. This conversation can be attested by the other waiter who was at the bar. Absolutely appalling behaviour! Never in my life as a customer have I had such a disrespectful response, especially from someone who is supposed to be a manager and represent the restaurant, and not act as if he is superior to everyone else....
