C Seven Restaurant — Restaurant in Munxar

Looked at the menu and were going to continue walking to find better salad options. A guy came out running out of the front door stating that we can get in. We asked him whether they do take away salads, which they do. We ordered 4 different salads along with 1 ribeye for take out. We did not mind paying 12 euro for each salad (which is quite expensive) but we where just expecting a nice healthy serving to wash away the junk food we ate for the past couple of days. We got our order and left the place. Once we got to open our meals, we immediately noticed that each salad box (which was quite large) was not even half full. Imagine paying 12 euro for a couple of sliced lettuces, along with 2 slices of cucumber and 2 slices of tomato. All the salads had the above, and the difference between each was just the main ingredient (small chunks of salmon, prawn and buffola). Apart frim the above, the rib eye was order medium well (but was served medium rare) and the chips were cold and disgusting. We never write any bad reviews, but such theft is not acceptable. The guy who welcomed us was very nice, but we definitely feel ripped off. Would not recommend such restaurant, for the reason of having to cook again right after eating a 68 euro meal!!!

Incredibly rude behaviour from the staff!

I am 55, and this is the first time in my life I have had to walk out of a restaurant.

My family are vegetarian and vegan (ex-meat eaters). We were trying to order the vegetarian options from the menu, but I sensed the waiter smirking slightly as we did so. Then, totally unprovoked, as I ordered the veggie burger, the waiter, pointing to my 10 year old daughter, said this:

"PLEASE DON'T FORCE YOUR OPINIONS ON YOUR DAUGHTER, LET HER MAKE HER OWN CHOICES"

I felt this was a shameful thing for a stranger to say to us. How dare he dictate to us how we raise our family! (Incidentally, deciding to be vegetarian was a personal choice of our daughter, on grounds of avoiding horrific and unnecessary cruelty to animals, for the planet and for her own health, just as millions of other vegetarian and vegans have).

We've been in Xlendi a week, and every other restaurant has been brilliant towards us and catered for our diet, serving amazing veg/vegan food without comment.

Luckily, rudeness like this is v rare in Xlendi. There are plenty of much better places with much kinder staff to visit.

Ps - It's no surprise that their review rating is one of the worst in Xlendi!

Says so...

First impressions…seated very quickly, drinks were ordered and given to us, along with bread. The food itself took over an hour to arrive (4 mains), in which the main plates were brought, while we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the sides (chips, salad etc).

We ordered a chicken dish, which was lovely but lukewarm. The two swordfish dishes were the main problem. One of them was a normal, decent cut of fish, while the other was half the size! We questioned the waitress in which she explained that she had also questioned it yet had been told to just serve it.

A relative of mine went to the bar and asked for a beer, in which he was told ‘no more orders’. He was dismissed and shut down very rudely by one of the staff! The food was decent itself but the behaviour, of who i assume the manager is, was appauling. The young waitress was a...
