Talija — Restaurant in Munxar

Ordered fresh fish per recommendation of a waiter.After a few minutes waiter came that the fish is not in a good quality and he recommended to choose another. After his recommendation he offered me that he would show me the fish before cooking, if it is fresh, I agreed..Another waiter came after 15 minutes with super small fish already cooked on the plate. It was cold, tasted bitter, with a lot of bones ( before waiter had assured me, that there are no bones, he removes it himself…). I guess it was frozen not fresh fish fillet, not even whole fish, as also he did not show the raw fish as he promised..After he ask how I liked fish, I complained, he ignored..than he avoided our table..We asked for the bill, I again said that fish was not good, he replied he was sorry..but just like robot without any deep details, like he knew it was, but we are just tourist he needed us only to pay and go..anyway we will not come back, but many others will come as this restaurant has 4.5..this was also the reason we chose it..be careful they sell refrozen fish and quality is not...

Based on the rating we came here but from start something seemed wrong. No people were inside but we thought to still give it a try. Not only have we waited very long for three dishes. Chicken which was overalls the best of all dishes but have in mind all where really bad. The ravioli which looked like polish pierogis bought in nearby supermarket swimming in barilla taste a like sauce which killed the taste of the ravioli. The calamari pasta was also not good. Very oily and not tasty at all. But the worst was to happen. We have found a dead fly at the bottom of the chips bowl which killed the mood. My wife puked after seeing that. They have also asked if it didn’t fly while we where sitting there. Seems they thought it seppuku itself in the bowl. Ridiculous. Even the manager wanted to give us new chips or drinks on the house it left us with bad taste as we just wanted to leave the place Not recommend it. Go to any other...

Great suprise! Very fast, kind, warm service. The food came fast and in a timely manner. Tasty starters, a few moments later, after drinks. Then very soon - tasty and rich soup. Not too long after - main course - also juicy, with fresh veggies. Thats not all - after that amazing choice of cakes, that were really satisfying. Additionally a bowl for fishbones, which is not often found in restaurants, and should be. A lil drink after. All of this for 22Euro. Amazing, right? We chose 2 sets: soft drink + vegetable soup + chicken breast with veggies and chips/sea brim with veggies and chips + kinder bueno cake/snickers cake + alcohol drink, which we had no room in stomachs for anymore xD all this x2 people for 44 Euro. You can see fresh fish in ice behind glass when entering...
