Club Lounge — Restaurant in Sliema

Nice place, good selection of beers. But if someone books a table for 20 and you know that they will come to have dinner, it's really unacceptable that you have just 4/5 "burgers" in the kitchen. The waiter served some finger food to share, when we finished the appetizers he came out with the dips and lastly brought us plates and cutlery. Hope the guy in the kitchen was there to help replacing the real cooker that was obviously missing: they assembled burgers and kind of miniburger: in the first case the bread was cold and they put inside just a breaded cutlet and a single leaf of salad, in the second there was a round meatball between 2 pieces of bread. I didn't had the stomach to taste it, but my friends told me that it was cold and quite bad.

I gave them 2 ** because of the beers they serve, but I really would avoid this...

The place looked cold but unfortunately it was extremely crowded for the karaoke night :( you couldn’t even move or go to the bar… I saw it on Facebook on the expats group, but I think they should control how many people come in. Plus entry cost for 6 euros. Where I live in Germany karaokes are for free and they do control the karaokes that I go and everybody is singing without being pushed. Maybe I had the expectations of Germany where everything is regulated, but I ended up disappointed cause I saved the night on my trip to Malta to go to the karaoke night:( couldn’t even order a beer, that why the 2 starts. I always visit karaokes when I travel but this one...

I was there yesterday with friends and I loved the vibe of the place! It's super spacious, fun, has 2 areas, I loved the fact that it has a small outdoor area for smokers since in Malta no one respects the laws that say smoking is prohibited. The bad thing is that for everything you want to consume you have to go to the counter which is always crowded and wait patiently to be served, place your order, pay on the spot and wait for it to be delivered to your table. But nothing that won't make me come back! On the contrary, I already want to go more often and I highly recommend it. I love the chicken wings and the prices there...
