Les Canisses Resto & Plage — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

For starters, the parking space is very limited. After seated, bread was served without butter. I believe its a new tradition there given that a friend of mine had the same issue. Secondly the waitress was quite sarcastic.

We ordered "roulade de marlin" which costs around Rs 495 and when it came, only 3 tiny pieces were served. I'm not too sure whether is a fair price for such a small portion.

I personally took a burger and after a few bites I felt a weird feeling in my mouth. When I opened the burger, I was entirely horrified to see a large piece of plastic inside my meal.

The waitress was called and she took the plate back to the kitchen. She didn't come before a good 10 minutes. She did apologise and proposed to bring something else but the whole service was horrible. We waited for a long time to get our first order. When we asked for the bill, she didn't seem to had any urgency for that. We waited for approximately 20 minutes until we couldn't and we made our way to the counter on our own.

Food was not the best and for the service I'd give a zero.

I would definitely not recommend eating there. To be honest, my experience overall was a 1 and that's only because its a beachfront...

Good staff vs worst staff We came afternoon and a friendly lady inform us about working hours (they start 6pm) we appreciate her welcome however how come a restaurant start 6pm??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

Later we visited the restaurant Saturday 13 August 7pm However Asian waiter Frowning, harsh, rude with customers with bad behavior, background and mentality, and treats the customer with contempt,, Asked us 100 times about reservations However 80% of the tables was free(no customers),, and he enforce us to set ,,up on his choice (and he did not show welcome and hospitality and did not asked us to select where to set), he did not bring the menu and after ordering,, we waited very long time to get our order. Finally we asked for billing and he ignored us again then we went to the cashier to get our billing,, We do not recommend this restaurant At all due to staff behavior and attitude In addition,, Very annoying because of the screaming of children while they were playing and the screaming of men while they were...

I went to this restaurant for valentine. They have provided us a special menu on this occasion, reservations had to be made and the lady informed us about the menu.

We gave it a try, the plate are spectacular and well portionned and decorated. The food was amazing with a view on Grand baie beach. There was love song played at the back. The services were rapid and well planned. I love this place and it was really worth for my 2023 valentine.

But yeah again, the price is so expensive, most of the main dished were above Rs1000. It is difficult to go again! The food is amazing but the price for foods and drinks are really EXAGGERATED.

Two main dishes, two starters and a shared combo dessert, two mocktail were almost Rs5500.
