Christian's Tacos — Restaurant in Bacalar

We went there twice in 2 nights, as the place was our favourite during the whole 2 weeks trip in Yucatan/Quintana Ro. We found this place in the Lonely Planet and try the al pastor tacos, queso relleno and quesadillas. There were fantastic! Also, from time to time someone came to play live music. There was a time when Christian's was the only place in Bacalar to have Al Pastor, actually on the spit that is freshly cut for every taco. That is how the place got so popular. However, this is no longer the case, as there are at least two other taquerias that do the "real" al pastor. Christians is very busy, and very touristy. Very nice place to have dinner and a few drinks. Awesome atmosphere, the tacos were very tasty especially the el pastor but my absolute favourite was the queso fundido simply delicious! Value for money is unbeatable, very cheap considering how tasty the food is! We have had dinner there twice and the service was so friendly they make you feel like home.
