My son and I dined here for dinner, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly. The atmosphere was inviting and casual, with a cozy vibe and friendly staff who made us feel at home right away. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a great meal without feeling rushed.

My son ordered the sirloin tacos with roasted cactus and onions (just $170 MXN), and he absolutely loved them. The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. The roasted cactus added a unique local touch with a pleasantly tangy and slightly earthy flavor that complemented the tacos beautifully. It was an authentic and satisfying Mexican dish that stood out from more standard taco offerings.

I opted for the restaurant’s signature Atlixco Burger ($190 MXN), and it did not disappoint. This mouthwatering burger came stacked with 150 grams of juicy Angus beef, grilled pineapple, crispy bacon, and three kinds of cheese—Manchego, Philadelphia cream cheese, and American cheese. It also included caramelized onions, fresh lettuce, and house dressings, all served on a lightly toasted bun with a generous side of fries. The sweet and savory combination of the pineapple and bacon, balanced by the richness of the cheeses and the perfectly cooked beef, made every bite incredibly flavorful. It was so big and satisfying that I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, which almost never happens!

We also shared a refreshing glass of passionfruit juice, which was lightly sweet, tart, and a perfect complement to our hearty meals.

What really stood out beyond the delicious food was the excellent service. Our server was attentive and kind, checking in just enough without interrupting our meal. Everything was served promptly and with a smile. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

If you’re in the area and looking for a spot with great food, good vibes, and fair prices, this place is a must-visit. Whether you’re craving local Mexican fare or a top-notch burger, you’ll find something to love here. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Menu had great options. Pricing was average. Here’s my experience on this visit: Ordered burrito, first half all but one bite was meat fat. Second half went to take a bite and was also fat. I gave up. For $195 pesos they shouldn’t even be serving that quality.

Server seemed indifferent. At the time of food coming out she would bring two plates, and then go over to her workers table and take a bite of her pizza. Then go get more food. Did that twice.

Good: some of my family enjoyed their food. Tamarind water was good. The red salsa with my plate was great....

Really disappointed of this place. They made a mistake with our dish but when we wanted to change they said they cannot do it and the waiter said that this amount of money will go off his salary if we will not pay for it. The food is not that good as I will expect of a restaurant that are ranked that high. The owner need to be ashamed that this is how he treats his waiters, this is the first reason why not...

Restaurant located in the center of Bacalar in an alley where it shares a place with other restaurants. Their menu has several options, but what whetted our appetite was the description of the al pastor meat wire dish. The staff is very friendly, very good service too. The portion of the dish was quite large (also accompanied with corn tortillas). We took half of our portion to take home. Everything was very delicious!

One of our tastiest meals yet in Mexico. The prices are higher than some others but the quality of the food was outstanding. My son had the pastor burrito and my daughter the chicken burrito - both extremely good with a beautiful fresh tortilla. I had the Aguachiles Verde. A huge amount of shrimp and a nice spice level for the 'mucho' spicy version. I definitely recommend it but maybe share since it's so huge!
