I'm still reeling from the incredible dining experience at Awacate! The service was top-notch, and the food was truly exceptional. What impressed me most was the chef's willingness to accommodate my requests and modify dishes to suit my tastes - and they did so with such warmth and enthusiasm!

The real star of the show, though, was the food itself. Each bite was a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. I was blown away by the freshness and creativity of the dishes, and the fact that they make their tortillas in-house, right before your eyes, is a game-changer. The naturally colored tortillas made with spinach, Mexican dried Chile, and beet were not only visually stunning but also added an extra layer of depth to each dish.

What really sets Awacate apart, though, is the chef's Oaxacan roots. It's clear that their heritage and passion for traditional cuisine shine through in every dish. Our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The arrachera was extremely salty (even my friends tried it and agreed), and we never got the chance to mention it to the waiter as he never checked on us. The tacos and churros were nothing to write home about. The service was decent at first, but then the staff disappeared, ignoring us whenever we tried to get their attention. They reappeared the moment we finished eating, hastily clearing everything from the table, making us feel rushed. While the venue is visually appealing, it’s just a pretty place to take photos. We spent almost 500 dollars on the blandest food we've ever had in Cabo. There are far better Mexican food options, like Los Tres Gallos or Jazmín. We definitely won’t...
