What an awesome place to stay while visiting Los Cabos! It’s obviously been renovated quite recently as the rooms are immaculate and have all the amenities you need with modern aesthetics. In our room with a king size bed we had a nice TV, beautiful bathroom, and balcony to hang out on in the afternoons. The swimming pool was a nice bonus and we made use of it daily. The hotel itself including the pool was never crowded which I appreciated particularly given the COVID climate. Because there was no resort-style on-site dining options, I went to the many local restaurants for my meals which provided me an more immersive experience. There are many eateries for tourists or locals within a block of walking from the hotel. Downtown and the stunning art district was a 10 minute walk. The beach was a brief 2 minute walk too and very easy access.
From the warm welcome, beautiful room, perfect location, and helpful staff it was a 10/10 choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Six Two Four to everyone I know visiting San Jose del Cabo looking for a less busy resort experience. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be staying...

Our room was comfortable, and everything was fine until the checkout. My partner and I stayed for four nights, and I didn’t request room service because I prefer reusing towels. I even left a tip for the maid and gave her an additional tip when she let us borrow a broom to sweep up sand from the beach.
However, during checkout, we were told the room looked good, but we were charged 400 pesos for a stain on a towel that was used on the floor. There was some dirt on the towel, and my partner offered to clean it, saying it wasn’t a big deal because dirt comes out. The front desk clerk, who wore glasses, quickly assured us that we didn’t have to pay and explained she was just passing on the message.
I’ve seen other reviews mentioning similar situations, and it’s disheartening. While I appreciate everyone’s hard work and showed nothing but respect, being treated like this made us decide not to return. It just...
Read moreA nice gem in a great location! We love staying in small boutique hotels for the peace & quiet. Would recommend if youre on a budget, but want a nice location near resorts & the beach
Pros: -great location. Across the street from the big resorts in San Jose, like Viceroy & Vidante -across the st from stores, restaurants -inexpensive -clean & well-maintained area -includes: safe, mini fridge, hair dryer, small pool, big tv -updated & clean rooms -around the corner, there are massage spas, restaurant, pharmacy, breakfast hut -AC -front desk receptionist was very kind & informative -it was very peaceful. No one was really in the pool during our stay so we went swimming a lot -checkout is at 12, checkin at 3 which is nice.
Cons: -wish it included a microwave & a full-length mirror -room is small because of the big king bed
Tip: -ask for a 1st floor room, near the pool like we had. Because there’s no shade on the 2nd...
