Nestled within the luxurious Viceroy Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, NIDO Sushi offers an unforgettable dining experience with its exquisite flavors and stunning ambiance. From the moment we stepped in, the sleek, modern décor and intimate lighting set the tone for what promised to be a memorable meal—and the food did not disappoint.

We opted for the sampler menu, which was an absolute delight—each piece of sushi and sashimi was impeccably fresh, with delicate flavors that melted in the mouth. The toro sashimi was a standout, buttery and rich, living up to its premium reputation. The sushi roll we ordered was equally impressive, beautifully presented and packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite confirmed that NIDO takes its sushi seriously.

The service was mostly outstanding—our waiters were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate* about the menu, enhancing the experience with their recommendations and warm hospitality. However, the otherwise perfect evening was slightly marred by the manager*, who felt overly eager to rush our dishes. While we understand the pace of fine dining, the constant pressure to finish plates quickly detracted from the relaxed, indulgent atmosphere we were hoping for.

Despite this, NIDO Sushi remains a must-visit ,for anyone craving top-tier sushi in Cabo. The flavors are exceptional, the setting is breathtaking,and the ,staff (minus the pushy manager) elevate the experience**. Just be prepared to dine at their tempo—or kindly ask to savor each bite at...

We went there last night for dinner and had a wonderful time.

Service Everyone from the gentleman covering the lobby to the hostess at Nido was top notch. The hostess was sweet, on her game, and was kind enough to seat us earlier than our reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and nice, but he was clearly busy and forgot our drinks, so we didn't get it till dessert came out. All the staff working inside were also very professional and great.

Food Beautifully plated and well curated dishes to choose from. Overall taste was excellent, but not mind blowing. I would skip dessert and order another cocktail as their drinks are delicious.

Vibes The architecture is stunning inside and out. The music that they have playing is spot on with the ambiance that they're going for. The views looking outside from the nest is peaceful and soothing. The views from outside the nest is the best at night as the Viceroy hotel really shines from their architecture and lighting, so they play off each other.

Very disappointing birthday celebration with no acknowledgement of my birthday until my husband had to say something, even though it was already noted on the reservation. Even then, 2 other tables received sparkler candles and we didn’t get a candle at all. We noticed inequality across each table—one table received warm hand towels, while nobody else did. Others received far more attention. Carlos was our server and my husband noticed that he walked away without even asking what he wanted to order for dessert. The servers lack attentiveness, except for the woman asking guests if they would like a blanket and the manager asking about our experience. The food was unfortunately a miss. The octopus was tough to chew and overcooked, other dishes too fatty, oily, and lacking in flavor. It took 20-30 minutes for plain scoops of ice cream to come out. Their cocktail and food menu omit key descriptors that are quite misleading. It’s unfortunate this was the last meal of our trip—it was supposed to be the best, but ended up being the worst...
