Terrible service, very rude staff. One of three mats was not clean, when we wanted to change it to a clean one, we very nicely asked. The person said you could eat without them, frowned, and then proceeded to pull them all out. We asked why he was angry when all we mentioned was that one of the mats was not clean and even told him the other 2 were good. He said with the same frown and angry voice that he was not angry. The other person behind the counter then interrupted and said in an extremely rude manner "do you have a problem". We said no we don't have one and told him what was happening. He asked why are you calling him "not polite" we then explicitly and calmly told him we had never said those words, but asked "why was he angry". Out of nowhere the same second person raised his voice and called us "not polite". This was a very strong red line for us so we stood up and left. I don't understand what's wrong with these people. Very small restaurant. Smoothies are yummy! We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Ine other table filled, only 2 tables and a small bar. He was the only one cooking, serving etc at the time. Very modern and nicely designed place! Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was just enough and really good. The strawberry smoothie was delicious. The waffle was my favorite. The food menu is digital so don’t forget your phone. The drinks are all posted on the wall, so easy to see, read, & order. Very short walk to the beach from here.
