Disappointing experience. We were recommended this place by some friends and it definitely wasn't worth the hype. Upon arrival, we weren't received by anybody. We didn't know if we had to wait for somebody to come up to the front or just go inside the restaurant. They had staff walking around, had eye to eye contact with us, and none actually made the effort of assisting in that situation. Not to mention we didn't get our temperature taken, no hand sanitizer was provided, and when I approached the front desk to ask what to do, the woman there was on the phone and literally lifted her hand, and told me to wait. There were 3 other staff there with her and none gave us any answers until an older gentleman whom turned out to be our waiter, finally took care of us, sat us down, and provided good service from there on out. Upon ordering just the appetizer, the food took very long to come out. By the time we ordered our main meal, they practically came out at the same time. The Positives: The view that this place offered was nice and the food tasted great. I will say, it is pricey but you definitely get your money's worth when it comes to portion size and quality. The environment is very relaxing, they have nice music playing in the background, and there's no seafood smell since you're outside in fresh air. Overall, It's a gamble of what experience you'll have. For what you're paying, there's a lot to be expected. Personally, we will not be returning. The place accepts both cash and card and have their own parking lot, but can get full fast due to its small size and will require you to park in the...
Read moreI’ve eaten in some pretty diverse and questionable location. I’ve had terrible service offset by great food and I’ve had terrible food offset by great service, but tonight might have been the worst of both. To say the service was poor is to give it a rating, it does not deserve one. First, we called and made a reservation for six. We arrived and the restaurant was packed. Great we thought, good thing we have a reservation. Not so much, they “lost it”. Finally after 20 min of discussion, they sat us at a makeshift table at the bar. This was as good as it got. We waited for drinks, every round, and it did not matter if they were beer or soda. We waited to order food and by the time we were able to put in our food request, we’d been there for an hour. But perhaps all would be saved by a fantastic meal. Not happening. We were served bland steak which would have been less than bland if not for the hint of fish it picked up off the grill. The shrimp was dry as was the fish and the octopus was so rubbery I could swear it was fighting to not be eaten. Our vegetables were so soft a baby could have gummed them to death. And to top it off the fettuccine Alfredo was so bad it looked and tasted more like overdone pasta in milk. As I started, this was one of the top 3 worst dining experiences in my life and I’ve eaten all over the world, from 5 star to street cart and I give this place one star because my youngest...
Read moreThis restaurant has one of the best locations in town, and the two dishes we ordered were absolutely delish! But (yup, there's a but) we kinda felt like we weren't completely served well. Why? Because when we ordered one bottle of wine, the waiter came back and said that they were out of it and asked if we wanted a different white wine that was also dry. And of course, we said yes. However, when it was time to pay the bill we saw that it was more than we expected. So that wine we ended up getting, without knowing was double the price. It would have been nice if the waiter mentioned that before bringing it to us (even though we still would've agreed to it). Not too pleasant of a surprise to get the bill like that. WE WILL come back but next time we'll straight up ask if the wine they have is the same or similar price as the...
