Terrible experience with the owner/manager. She is an extremely rude and condescending lady. Lost my business. I’ve been a few times for breakfast with the family and we have enjoyed eating there, but the past few weeks I have been going twice a week for interior design meetings and usually stay for no more than 2 hours. Between 2-3 people we all order a $5USD latte/smoothie which we tip another 20% on. While the meetings are usually 1.5 hours, I often stay another 30-40 minutes before having to pick up my son from his school. (For context my son goes to school from 9-12…I’m there from 9:30-11:30…average time for 1 coffee at a coffee house)
Today, following my meeting, I was on my own finalizing some work on my laptop. I had just asked for the check when the manager/owner came up to me and very condescendingly said “I’m told you come here often and are here for a while. You don’t order much, it would be better if you go sit in the back or maybe make room for someone else. It’s just business.” I find this very rude as a customer who goes there often, I spend no more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is the first time meeting her or seeing her. Usually Infusion is not packed to the rim but today it was raining in Cabo and maybe drew in more customers but again not all the tables were full and she had no reason to be so rude. I’m not sure how she ended up being a manager or business owner if she is one as she has a terrible attitude. I hope she gets some therapy maybe she is having...
Read moreI've been coming to this Cafe for about 2 weeks. On average I spend about $50 usd on food and drinks. And I have been staying about 6 hours out of the day.
Today I was asked to leave because there's a new policy of a 2 hour limit but more specifically because I was also told that I have to leave because I am consuming too much power with 3 laptops connected.
The service is good, the wifi is good, as well as the staff. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because this is no longer a good cafe for working from...which is the entire part of why people go to cafe's.
The thing that was more annoying is that I said, "fine but let me finish my meeting" and she continued to explain why I have to leave". I was on a meeting call atm. And, I just finished eating less than 5mins ago...
I would say this place is good for possibly a meetings but the music is a bit loud as well as background noise.
But I wouldn't say this is a great spot for breakfast, a date, or what have you...just casual stuff.
Personally, I won't be coming any more since there's a time limit but more importantly because I am being told that my power consumption is in excess vs the amount of money that I've been spending to support this local business.
With that said, I would say this place is "ok". not great,...
