I was referred here by a timeshare presentation recruiter Jorge that turned out to be shady and did not give us what was promised. The place was empty, even though Chato's next door was busy. A waiter rushed over to encourage us to come in while looking at the menu, Eddie, some relation to the owner , came over to encourage us to eat the with additional incentives. It was weird, But we had been sent there by a seemingly unrelated party, so we decided to eat there. As we were waiting for drinks, Eddie, came over and said that Jorge was a good buddy of his and knew what presentation we had been setup with, and asked us about doing a different presentation. We ordered drinks, a jack and coke, which was extremely light on the jack, and a mojito, which tasted like margarita mix instead of a mojito. The waiter was overly enthusiastic about us being there, like we were the only customer all day. A sign at Chatos next door stated that they don't sell timeshares at chatos unlike the place next door. I believe that if we hadn't already signed up with a timeshare with their shady buddy Jorge that screwed us over, they would have pushed us to do a timeshare presentation while waiting. We had nachos (which were decent) and lobster (decent flavor, but very small...
Read moreThe waitress took the credit cards to the back. She charged me for my meal. Then she charged my sister's credit card for her meal, and twice for my meal. Jorje Rios at the restaurant had her remove one of the two identical charges and said it was a mistake. Why not remove both? We disputed and the credit card company removed the other. I had a seafood burrito and it was good. Let your dealings with anyone associated with this place stop there. DO NOT DEAL WITH JORJE RIOS. He is a liar. Took our $40 to listen to a 90 minute presentation, had a taxi driver take us 30 minutes out of town. We wasted hours listening to the presentation in order to get back to San Jose. He didn't even want to give our $40 back. Tried return $40 with a $20 usd and the rest in pesos. He is a...
Read moreWe we looking for some good food on a Sunday night and stopped at Marks grill thinking it would be a great palace to eat. The place was empty we were the only ones there so the service was great Lol When the food came out, we were all very disappointed. The bean and rice were cold and clumpy, the fajitas were not sizzling at all and the steak tasted like 3 day old steak, the picture below was suppose to be shrimp a la diabla and this is what I got. the margaritas we ordered were not good at all. We were also shocked at the $243.00 US dollar bill we got for 4 people and they would not take cards so we had scramble to find enough cash on us to pay the bill. Not a good dining...
