Promptly seated and wait staff made us outstanding drinks and an amuse-bouche of crostini with house-made dulche cheese and apricot gastrique which was quite good. We had eaten loads of guacomole and chips all day so went straight to mains. I ordered a filet and lobster tail with a salad and garlic vegetables as my sides. (You pick two sides with every meal). The other dishes were Black Sea bass with piccata sauce, ribeye and two more filets. The chef is very proud of his cooking ability and for good reason. We all agree Mita Gourmet was the best food we had in Loreto (and we tried everywhere). The ribeye in particular was unbelievably good. Read moreThe food was excellent but unfortunately the female waitress was extremely rude. I ordered the shrimp in spicy sauce. The shrimp was fresh and meaty. The sauce had a nice kick. The vegetables were crunchy and cooked to make perfection. The pasta was soft and dressed just the right amount. All of the staff were polite and patient apart from the female waitress who was walking around with an angry appearance. I cannot believe how rude she was throughout my meal. She didn’t smile once and after paying the bill she didn’t acknowledge me at all and failed to even thank me for my custom. This waitress is bringing down the overall reputation of the restaurant right down. If you cannot treat your customers with politeness and respect, find another job!
