Osteria 107 — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Literally just left Osteria 107 and came on here to write a review because the service was so outstanding. We arrived around 7:30pm and were seated in the beautiful patio area where Mario came to our assistance. He was very kind and even though I requested a cocktail that was off the menu he understood exactly what I wanted. We ordered the foccacia (which was scrumptious) and while we waited the very friendly Christiano noticed our daughter playing with a toy pan and started chatting with her about her being a chef. It was so cute. He gave wonderful food recommendations and was very knowledgeable. We ordered the margherita pizza, lasagna and caprese salad. Everything was so delicious, especially the lasagna which has an amazing top layer of bechamel. We would’ve ordered dessert but our two kids fell asleep and we had to head out. What an amazing night we had from start to finish! We were greeted by the owner Christiano who we spoke to in our broken Italian as he seated us in the beautiful dining room. The decor and interior design is beautiful and minimalistic. Very warm atmosphere. Our waiter Christoper was fabulous and welcoming and made great recommendations. We started with the tartufo prosciutto pizza, burrata special appetizer and focccia which were all incredible . Our daughters had homemade fettuccine and risotto con gamberi (shrimp) . Both were so delicious. Perfect portions and well cooked. Al dente! The star of the dinner was the homemade gnocchi with gorgonzola tartufata sauce. Christiano made it especially for my husband and it was the best he’s ever had. Highly recommend Osteria 107. The food is impeccable and the staff is warm and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back. We came across this newly opened hidden gem while strolling around. The design and decor of this restaurant are aesthetically pleasing. The owner, Cristiano, is exceptionally hospitable and strives to create a homely atmosphere for his guests.

Now, let's discuss the culinary experience. The pizza is an absolute delight and offers a variety of options to suit different preferences. The fried calamari with fried zucchini was simply phenomenal. The mussels cooked in white wine were seasoned to perfection, offering a delectable taste. Our main courses included lasagna, pasta bolognese, and chicken parmesan, all of which were incredibly delicious. I had the pleasure of sampling a bit of each dish and can confidently say that they were all exceptional.
