My wife and I ate here twice during our time in La Paz. We enjoyed the tacos here, and they were also very affordable (the fish tacos were 30 MXN at the time of writing). The highlights for us were the tacos dorados de jaiba (deep-fried tacos with crab; 30 MXN) and the gobernador tacos (a Sinoloan specialty; essentially tacos with shrimps, cheese, onions, etc.; 40 MXN). There is also a self-service bar for your taco toppings, e.g. pico de gallo, lettuce, cucumbers, lime.
Staff were pleasant and courteous, and the restaurant was clean and cheery. Only downside were a couple of very persistent flies near the entrance, but they were more of a mild irritant. After spending a lovely morning on the water swimming with whale sharks, we decided we needed to find fish tacos. Luckily, we found Tacos Baja while walking back to the overnight accommodations. The salsa is just spicy enough with great flavor that compliments the tacos perfectly. The limonada baja is refreshing and incredibly tasty!
