Trattoria Italiana La Paz — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Desperately seeking non - Mexican fare after 3 weeks in Mexico -Trattoria Italiana popped up in my Search and I went without high expectations. I was warmly welcomed into the dining area in the garden - first impressions mattered and I had a good feeling . I ordered a shrimp aglio olio spaghetti - it was legit good - easily one of the best I have had Any where in Italy or Singapore. It was so good I ordered another main - ricotta filled Ravioli and again They knocked it out of the park. I finished with a tiramisu Desert which was equally authentic. Chef Alejandro was very personable and told me hes from Naples and has operated a number of italian restaurants in Mexico including CDMX. The Manager and crew were all very pleasant and provided really good service . I am so pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic and HIGH quality Italian rst in La Paz. Had the best experience here last night. The food is amazing! The server/ chef work well together to create a wonderfully comfortable backyard like setting. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying the food. We ordered mixed green salad, a special, lasagna, chocolate cake, and tiramisu. We shared the food family style and our bill was very reasonable for the quality of the food. My wife had a glass of wine and the best limonada mineral we have had. The most amazing find just off the main road that follows the coast. The food was AMAZING and very well priced. Lasagna was as good as my Italian great-grandmother's. My husband got the pork and my daughter couldn't stop eating it on the way to our hotel. The patio was beautiful and our toddler was able to run around freely, and they even have a swing!
