¡Super rico!
We enjoyed several birria and carne asada tacos around 11:30am and the taqueros were READY to go with the hot meats and the ladies were ready with all the taco accompaniments. Super sweet ladies working there. Make sure you keep close track of how many tacos you get since the system is relaxed (no POS) and a kind of honor system. They have mostly red meats: cabeza, suadero, adobada, etc. Vegans beware. Classic glass bottled sodas and horchata/Jamaica water available.
The tacos DO NOT need to be modified, they come perfectly dressed--the salsa is awesome, guac is bright and fresh. Personally, I prefer my tortillas really well done so I asked for them that way and they happily obliged. Perfect birria taco was my favorite.
The aggressive flies are obnoxious but the ladies come and clear your plates quickly and it's an open air eatery right next to the street so it's expected. It's all part of the experience and a small price to pay for these authentic Tijuana tacos.
This place is better than a lot of the other places you may have heard of. Clean bathrooms. Authentic flavors in a TJ al fresco setting. You won't find something like this in San...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic street tacos in Tijuana, this hidden gem is a must-visit! I recently tried their pork tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The pork was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, with just the right amount of spice. Each taco was packed with flavor, complemented by fresh toppings like cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime. The tortillas were soft and warm, adding to the overall experience. What truly set this place apart was the balance between the savory pork and the freshness of the ingredients.
The atmosphere was lively, with a friendly, local vibe, and you could tell they take pride in their food. The staff was quick and efficient, and despite being a busy spot, I didn’t have to wait long for my order. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or immersing yourself in the local food culture, these pork tacos are worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Tijuana...
Read moreThese are yummy tacos! I got a lengua and a adobada taco. Get the lengua, I know you're scared of oregon meats or whatever (just do it!). Lengua is kinda like pot roast meat. The adobada was really good, it was crispy and juicy, and good stuff like that lol. I came with a group and the samurai taco looked interesting.
The samurai taco is a a hard taco. The taco is 17 pesos which is only $1.01 I think. The samurai taco is 20 pesos though. To drink I got jaimaca and that was good. One of the people in my group said Anthony Bourdain was here. Also one of the people in my group got a torta, they said it had too much bread.
They put a lot of guacamole on the tacos, it seemed liked they put more guacamole on the adobada than the lengua. They put leeks and radishes on the table. I prefer the leeks, except when it's a boat because I don't want a leaky boat. It's nice that this place is open 24/7, we came on a sunday at...
