I liked this place, and as usual, I took a lot of photos because it is my compulsion to photograph everything pretty much to death, they say. But now, as I quickly roast down in LA Paz, I can remember each nook of my old apartment for a week in the Tijuana colonia Marrón.

I don't think everybody who lives in this apartment house is transient, renting via Bookings.com. It's not a huge place, but quite a few people live here quietly across the three floors of the gated and locked building. Life is informal, kids feel safe to lounge as they browse the good internet, everybody seems happy.

I never say the management. They left the key in a box, and I did the same when I checked out. They were very quick to respond to my messages, the once or twice I had a question.

This place will be best for somebody who isn't traveling alone and requires a place to cook. There's a refrigerator and two-burner hot plate.

There's plenty of hot water and good WiFi. The bed is made, but you'll want to bring a towel. An OXXO is two blocks away. Calimax Boulevard is about four blocks away.

The red and black taxis -- taxis colectivos -- run every few seconds up near the OXXO on Blvd Agua Caliente. The fare on these taxis is 15 pesos. The red and black route runs from 4th and Constitución downtown out to various places, including La Presa...

Las cosas que suceden aquí,no creo que pasen en ninguna parte después de las 5pm.
