Mariscos El Torito Bar — Restaurant in Baja California

We were a group of 3 kids visiting for some tacos. Tried throwing in a mandatory gratuity of 10%. Which was Around 5 dollars. I asked them why the bill didn't make sense and he said it made sense. So I got a menu and added everything and he said oh a mandatory 10%, but if you don't want to pay that you don't have to pay that. Don't you realize we're Americans?? It's in our culture to tip. He saw a few kids and tried to take advantage. Only been charged a mandatory gratuity twice in my life, a Mexican place and an Asian sushi...

Aug 1st around 7:30 pm. Went in with a friend and sat on the outdoor tables. We ordered our food and after the waiter had already taken our order another waiter came and asked us if we were part of a group of vendors they were hosting, we were not part of that group and WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY CLOSED. We were well within business hours and the cooks said our orders were ready and appologized but they said it was because of the owner. Very RUDE and uncomfortable situation. Do not reccomend this...

This place has nice decor, the service is very warm and welcoming. Even though we were here around closing time they were pleasant about it. The food was regular not something to write home about. We had several dishes in our party and we all agreed that it was ok. They have a good drink selection so that and the service broght them up...
