Mi Jacalito Mariscos — Restaurant in Baja California

This little spot is great for a quick grub the tacos are better than everything else. The star is ok. The música sucks. Parking is good gets a bit crowded. Tables can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable but depends on where you sit I prefer a tye round tables. Place needs a makeover. Specifically the restrooms. I do come back to this place everynow and then.

Update: the made to order on the spot campechana was the bomb The tacos were great fish, and marlyn the made to order on the spot Salmon ceviche tostada...

I rated this place a 4 stars 2 years ago. It's now a 1 star. Higher prices, smaller portions, deceptive menu. The shrimp tacos never once said fried with tons of batter. I expect it with fish tacos but not with shrimp. They should call it fried batter tacos. Yuk. Plus my campechana which is $20, was swimming in juice and chopped veggies. C'mon man. This used to be a local spot. It's ugly and the roof is falling on you, but you'd go for the prices and the food. Not no mo....

Lacks luster in flavor... I tried a few times and its always the same results. We stopped here because we couldnt find any cocos w Camaron for my prima. Prices are not the best for what you get either. Service is not w a smile, and the noise from being on the Blvd is a bit much. Doesn't help they had construction going on for their front door I suppose either. Wont go...
