This is a hidden gem and a must-try for breakfast/brunch. Open till 3pm (not 2pm, like Google says).
Food: we had a rajas omelet, a merlin machaca omelet, fresh juices (“green” and fresh-pressed orange) and coffee. The omelets were very unique delicious. We were also served a complimentary side of of blackened jalapeños with fresh onions in a lime reduction, which was a very nice gesture (and equally delicious). Both juices were very tasty, although the orange one was about half the size of the green juice. Coffee was served in American diner-style mugs and about the quality would expect to drink out of those mugs ;)
Staff: No complaints - very attentive, funny and nice. Made for a pleasant morning.
Getting there/Vibe: That’s the tricky part. We initially missed the parking lot entrance (look for a rust orange gate with a guard) because the building looks condemned - and then couldn’t find the entrance to the restaurant (take the stairs on the left of the building). The restaurant’s layout and interior (and a partial sign on the building’s facade) hints at the space having previously been a sports bar
Overall, a lovely experience and well-worth it. Highly recommend, will be...
Read moreThis place is what you consider a hidden gem. I didn't even know this place was here but I was invited. When we stepped inside the restaurant there were only two tables occupied so I thought the place wasn't good. Regardless of that, I ordered and when our food finally arrived, I was so impressed. The presentation of the plates looked so good and delicious. We got the Poblano omelet and overeasy eggs over arrachera. The food had so much flavor. The hashbrown had a nice buttery flavor and even my mineral lemonade tasted good. I didn't even wanna leave that place since it was good. The waiter was also very friendly. I have no complaints. I can't wait to go back soon and try a...
