Being Indian was delighted to find a Punjabi Restaurant in T.J. visited with high expectations, as I have not been to one yet that I have not liked. You see Punjabis are a very cultured welcoming pleasantly mannered community. On the contrary the service I received here was unwelcoming, rude and sarcastic! Unfortunately my expectations were shattered as soon as I entered this establishment expecting a warm welcome. No greeting, in fact I had to ask where I could sit. Felt very unwelcome here. When ordering my first two choices was indifferently told that they were not available. First Punjabi restaurant that I have been to that does not serve "Roti" for those of you that do not know that is a very basic staple Punjabi bread. Coming from me, someone that speaks the language, I can only imagine how non Indian speaking patrons might be treated. This in my humble opinion is an extremely unfortunate representation of Indian Cuisine and culture. For those of you that visit this establishment, my appeal to you is to please not set the standard of Indian Cuisine and Culture based on the services offered by this unprofessionaly...
Read moreFood is not authentic indian at all. We went for dine in, food came in boxes and told the owner it was for dine in and he tried to still make us eat from the boxes. Once he starts opening up the boxes in front of us it turned out its not even our food. Even after he got the whole order wrong at first, and then he started sending out wrong items at our table. For chicken biriyani, it was not even chicken made for the biriyani, and he lazily threw in tandoori chicken with white rice and called it biriyani. I am a desi person with experience of eating indian foods from all over the world and i knew that he was running a scam here trickong the people here that this is indian food cause they dont know any better. Our samosas came out cold in the middle, they were not even fresh. Even after all this we were nice to the owner but he was very unprofessional and rude. Not once did he apologize for all the mistakes and when it was time to pay he was very rude to us. Definitely will never go back again. Its one thing to get tje food wrong but another thing to be rude and unprofessional. Take your bussiness somewhere else, not to this...

And this is probably the second time that i have disliked a meal in its entirity. Not one thing was note worthy. Which is unfortunate because i have been waiting for 15 years for any sign of DECENT “Indian Cuisin” in Tijuana. I can see why many believe this is “INDIAN” cuisine...the blend of Spices may have locals and tourists fooled. But anyone who has had authentic North Indian food... THIS, is not the best example of it. I really wanted this to be IT!!! Being that i live here, in TJ I miss home cooking. And was hopping this would fill the void. I might give it one more try... but my expectations are trashed... they only can get...
