Its similar to most Mexican fruit candies that have a chili covering, except in a frozen form which makes the experience especially refreshing and tasteful. Tepoznieves is a very clean business and the staff are really friendly and courteous. They have cute tables and chairs that are designed with flowers ornamentation. I recommend coming here for a sweet treat on a hot day. Please note that the parking lot requires a fee, but it is minimal.

[Las Tepoznieves tienen su origen antes de la conquista de los españoles ya que hay registros en manuscritos antiguos que el señor Tepoztecatl, Rey de Tepoztlán, introdujo en sus festejos religiosos un manjar especial preparado con nieve de la montaña más alta de la región: el Popocatépetl]. Fuente: internet más mexico.com Nosotros tuvimos la fortuna de probar la nieve de esta nevería en Tepoztlán y no sabía que había franquicias en varios estados de la República así que agradecemos a la familia que nos llevaron a las nieves, ahora nos daremos a la tarea de saber dónde hay y visitarlas. Un lugar muy colorido, con una infinidad de opciones de sabores, el servicio muy eficiente, estacionamiento gratuito. Los invito a escribir su propia historia hasta la próxima y buen provecho !!!

We stopped in with a group of about 15 on our day out and they took great care of us! It such a cute shop with all the painted tables and chairs! The ice cream is wonderful!!! They have many flavors both with and without dairy. We paid about $5.50 for 3 golf ball size scoops each a different flavor. It was the perfect size! My favorite was...
