This is a second-floor bar/ grill. They have seating along the edge with large windows where you can see out into the Downtown area. Came in the middle of the day, but it seems like they have a dance floor for a more club/ bar feel at night. We walked up the stairs and were shortly greeted by a gentleman and seated by the window.
They bought us some chips and salsa. The chips were a little hard but palatable.
Our server took our drink orders and came back rather quickly with our drinks.
At this time we ordered three bread shrimp tacos and three Mexicano Tacos. The food was decent. The roasted chilies in the Mexicano tacos were different.
However, our food took over 30 minutes to come out and our server did not return to our table until he came with the food. We flagged down the guy who sat us and asked him how much longer and his reply was "everyone was seated at the same time". Which we understood but that didn't answer our question. About 5 minutes later our server came with our food.
When the bill came it had the cost in Pesos and USD. We paid in USD and they gave us change in USD.
Food was good enough to consider if I return to TJ. But maybe visit at night for the...
Read moreAs an American in Tijuana that doesn’t know much Spanish, I trust this place. I never had a problem communicating with the staff so don’t let that be concern. The drinks are a lot less expensive than in the states and the food is on point. The food and drinks arrive quickly and refills too! My wife will go there sometimes by herself when in TJ and like I said before, I trust her to go there and be safe even if I’m not there.
The seating is pretty awesome as you sit about 2.5 stories above the street and the view is great. Since I have been there numerous times, I’ve seen all kinds of impromptu parades like once a bunch of antique cars rolled through there, it was pretty cool.
Would I recommend this place to my friends and relatives? Yes, as a place to get some seafood cocktail type food and the more traditional Mexican style food like rolled tacos etc. And since I don’t drink, I’ll take my wife’s word about the drinks...
Read moreVery nice place on Revo second floor to rest, drink, food and watch traffic below, away from the crowd, noise, dust.
They have a very good menu of Mexican food, raw seafood, tacos ect for 100- 250 pesos ($5 -12), beers are $2 to $2.50.
The recently introduced specials are very good, seafood ceviche or tostada, fried fish, sushi, very well prepared and nicely presented, fresh and tasty, good to wash down with beers. This restaurant impresses me the most in the menu, food quality and fun factor with reasonable prices.
Avoid restaurants in the alley next to Santa Cecilia plaza. Food is below average, expensive and they will charge $5 for a beer.
The waitress was very efficient and professional. Service was very...
