This hotel is such a great value! We booked through Airbnb and the price was super reasonable. The location is fantastic— 5-7 minute drive to the US border ($5 cab), directly above the bar/restaurant La Justina (their cocktails are amazing), and a stone’s throw from tons of other restaurants, bars, and shops. There’s no need for a car since there’s plenty to do within walking distance. We also took Ubers from the hotel to farther restaurants a few times. When taking a taxi, most drivers don’t know the hotel by name, so it’s easier to just say that you want to go to the Hotel Ceasars on Avenida Revolucion, which is just diagonally across the street. We did have a little trouble finding the hotel on arrival because the entrance is actually up a steep set of steps on the side of the building. The beds have Casper mattresses, and are super comfortable. The style of the hotel is trendy and a bit eclectic, which makes for lots of fun Instagram pics haha. The room decor is simple, but funky, and the bathroom/shower tiles are fun. We especially loved the restaurant, La Placita, across the street for breakfast (with live music) and the restaurant, Cevicheria La Mas Nais, which is a few blocks away and has delish ahi tuna tostadas and whole grilled octopus. Also, take a taxi to the food truck park, Telefonica Gastro Park— great food and a really...

This 5 room boutique hotel is on the strip overlooking Ave. Revolución. It has a modern, hipster vibe. The rooms are small, with all the usual amenities, plush bed, and space is utilized well.
Staff is very friendly, attentive.
There is a really awesome bar with indoor outdoor seating and the chef/bartender Miguel great stories and life experiences from his world travels he's willing to share. Drinks were good but a bit expensive.
If you are a couple who want to be in the downtown TJ area to experience nightlife, this might be the place for you.
However, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, as it is off-site, not oriented for families or those who have difficulties moving around or in...
Read moreI had a trip planned to San Diego and Tijuana, and was disappointed that I had to cancel the trip because of the coronavirus pandemic. I just want to say that of all the folks I had to deal with in cancelling my plans, the folks at One Bunk were the absolute best. Far and above everyone else. I sent a simple email and within 24 hours everything was taken care of and a credit was posted to my credit card. I wish it had been that easy with other vendors on this trip. With the rest it was hours on hold to talk with someone, partial refunds, and with one I'm three weeks later still waiting for a credit to be posted to my account. Thank-you One Bunk for being so considerate. I can't wait for the pandemic to be over so I can set this trip again and finally get to stay in your...
