HOTEL QUINTA — Hotel in Baja California

The one star is not a reflection of the room, but a couple of things that people should be aware of I booked and paid for two days at the hotel. After a business meeting, it would not be necessary to stay 2 days. The afternoon of the 1st day upon returning I notified the receptionist on duty I would be checking out in the morning. Upon leaving I checked out with the night manager and told him I was not staying the second night. He asked if I wanted to "keep" the second day on the books for future use. I told him no. He called a cab for me to return to the border,and the cost would be 10.00 USD. I mentioned that cab cost to the driver- he said nothing. When we get to the drop off point he says its FIFTEEN dollars. I did not have change so he had to ask a nearby vendor for it. After returning I put in a refund request for the 2nd day to Expedia. Today they emailed me that the hotel manager would not honor my request. So for those reasons I CAN NOT recommend this place...

Room was decent & clean just had 2 issues. One with the parking, they had a very small parking & they charge you per day it was a hassel trying to get your car out of that parking lot.

Second, the staff was very friendly Except the lady with short red hair. One day we had an issue paying parking & just gave me attitude saying i couldn't stay funny other staff never told me anything except her. Another day, i walked in & greeted her & she just rolled her eyes at me, other staff greeted me! On the day of check out she was very rude. She was slamming thigs & threw the paper at me, whatever, i was speaking to her the entire time yet replied to my boyfriend which doesnt speak spanish. She handed him the money, i took it from her. Again, she was totally ignoring me when i am the one doing everything. What was her deal. So unprofessional of her part.

Other than that the hotel was a decent place to stay, but i wont come back here after that incident...

The hotel is not bad, but not great either. It’s not cheap, the weekend price is almost double the week day one. Our room was small. The water pressure was very poor, the sheets were dirty. We had to call the front desk to have them changed and they tried to blame it on us before changing them. But we had just checked in, so they had to change the sheets. Then the location. Yes, it’s on the street where all the parties are, and you’re sure to hear them from your room. You can hear the noise from the street and what is happening in the other rooms too.
