Very happy with the service. The kitchen was about to close, but the waitress diligently took my order, and the rest was history, the most outstanding crème of olives, home made bread. A green salad, spread with a bit of parmesan . And the pork shop was excellent, perfect combination with a green apple sauce, a bit hot, accompany by mash potatoes. Dessert was a delicious cake with lemon sweet sauce. My drink of choice , a refreshing mojito. We found this gem of a restaurant on a weekend stay in Rosarito for our anniversary. From the moment you find it tucked into a little corner off the main drag, you are transported!! It's decor and ambience is reminiscent of the Old World and just feels good to be there. But the high point here is the FOOD! (As it should be). Flavorful, beautiful and presented with care. Each course was a delight and possibly better than the one before it. The tortilla soup was rich and complex, the asparagus strawberry salad was fresh and bright, the balsamic mustard chicken was out of this world! First off im not one to do reviews but i could not resist. She never ceases to amazing me with her dishes. Each time I come ( which is every other month ) I find a new favorite. Tonight hands down the best pork dish I’ve ever ate in my life. It was prepared with a slightly spicy pineapple sauce. I have no idea how the pork was so tender but that’s her secret :) I can with amazing garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus it was so good I ordered a second plate.I travel regularly and live fine dining and this place is one of the worlds best.
