So Disappointed. Our first dinner stop for this trip and it was Not good. The bread looks like it’s coming from being warmed in the pizza oven but arrived cold, dry and stale. Next the appetizers were not the worst but bruschetta was bland, the calamari was Not good as the batter has a very strange taste that dominates the palate (not in a good way). The soup wasn’t bad but not served hot like it should be. The main dishes were very bland and barely warm. The “lasagna” was a ton of cold cheese on flavorless meat filling and the “salmon pasta” was barely warm. These dishes must be premade sitting under warming lamps for way too long because that’s exactly what it tastes like. Disappointing to say the least as friends of ours were hear 5 years ago for their honeymoon and Ciao was there favorite restaurant. It’s taken a FAR fall. Lastly we figured let’s just get dessert because you can’t mess that up, wrong again. The coffee and espresso come out barely warmed just as the food did, the cake has chocolate that looks like it was supposed to be like a hot fudge kind of thing but it was congealed like an old pudding…. but at least the scoop of ice cream was edible. I’d avoid this restaurant while here. Fingers crossed we find a place worth the money we paid...
