Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Cancún

Nice normal DQ location. minus1 star because of slow service. I was here 2 times, and it was slow both times. first time there was a line of 5-6 people, and one single lady both taking orders and making the order, in no particular rush. So it was a long uneventful wait. Second time a lady took orders and a guy made them, but the order taker seemed to never had heard of ice cream before because she had a super hard time typeing anyones order in. So still super long wait with same length of line. dont expect a 5 min stop unless there is no line.

across the road from walmart, all the ice cream in walmart is melted, you pick up a ice cream carton and its squishy like there is water in it. So go across the road to DQ

They have Cakes too, altho i didnt see any ice cream pizzas like in Canada. but they do have other small treats like ice cream sandwich.

When I was a kid say the seventies, mcallen Texas well in first grade field trip to DQ. Walking from school...since then my favorite ice cream/ banana split chill out place ,,however in Mexico I wish they would Follow the concept as in U.S. with their unique menu from taco salad to country basket...do dairy queen if you read this please!!! No food items (like hamburgers, hot dogs, etc) just drinks and ice cream treats. That's fine because the ice cream is great. The staff is usually friendly and efficient. Banana split is not exactly like what you would get in the U.S. but close enough for me. Blizards appear to be exactly like those in the U.S. All of my Mexican friends thought the treats...
