Amazing Authentic Tacos at Unbeatable Prices!

While heading to Soriana to grab some water near our hotel, I stumbled across a hidden gem that taco lovers absolutely need to try. Located in a small stand right across from the grocery store, this unassuming spot serves up some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. With a steady line of locals waiting for their orders, you know the food is going to be fantastic.

Run by a hardworking husband-and-wife team, this place exudes charm and authenticity. The husband, who speaks English, takes your order with a smile, while his wife works her magic in the kitchen. Everything here is homemade—from the flavorful salsas to the perfectly prepared condiments. We arrived just as they were opening, and it was clear that everything is made fresh. Ingredients are prepped ahead of time and warmed to perfection right before they craft your order.

I ordered a pork taco and a carne asada taco, and wow—each bite was an explosion of flavor! You can choose to add rice, but the real stars are the toppings: creamy avocado spread, vibrant yellow-green salsa with just the right amount of heat, smoky hot oil, and tangy pickled onions. With a sprinkle of salt, the tacos were absolutely irresistible.

Be warned—the “medium” salsa packs a bit of a punch, but it’s so good you’ll want to pile it on anyway. These are hands down some of the most authentic and delicious tacos I’ve had, and the prices make it even better. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this...

Located inside the small mall nearby hospital and Playa Martin. Pricing is really good compare to the stores outside or nearby hotels. Good size servings for tacos and fills me right up. The people/store staff or owner speaks English well so it's a plus. Helped us a lot with whatever are on the menu for the day. 5 of us spent $150 pesos for 5 tacos where as in La Isla mall and nearby hotels will cost us $200 pesos for 2...
