First off… the restaurant was really dead during peak lunch hour (warning sign #1 but my sister was really craving Asian food after a week of tacos). We ordered 2 meals with udon and tempura but only received one udon. When I asked where my second udon was, they prepared another udon with another tempura and told me “free” (I thought free cus they forgot about my udon).
The tempura was soggy… not crispy at all. What I thought was calamari was onion. What I thought was crab was carrot 😅 The broth was pure tsuyu, not diluted properly so it was super salty.
When the bill came, they charged me for 3 meals. I obviously wasn’t happy about that, so questioned why I’m being charged for 3 and they told me I had 3 meals. The extra udon/tempura I ordered (completely ignoring the fact they forgot about my second tempura and told me free for the order when they dropped it off…).
Maybe it was a miscommunication, but the picture clearly shows udon and tempura. They told me for “illustrative” purposes only and doesn’t actually come with the udon.
Restaurant itself is really nice and comfortable, it’s unfortunate the food and service...
Read moreBare with me as this gets worse and worse Long story short I got a salmon bowl, there was quinoa instead of rice (which I don’t actually mind) but if you’ve ever had it you would know it’s almost impossible to pick up with chopsticks and they wouldn’t give me a spoon or fork even though I asked No one spoke English atleast none of the waitresses serving my table (there’s nothing wrong with that obviously, just a fyi) My friend ordered ice cream and they never bring it to us and still billed us The food was average at best MAIN POINT** when we went to pay it was WAY more than it was supposed to be and they claimed that the “prices for the English menu aren’t updated yet” and to top it off when they asked how much we wanted to tip we said 10% and they charged us 15% instead of the 10% and then claimed to not have to right change to pay it back
Overall just don’t go gas station sushi...
Read moreSo you normally don’t go to Mexico for sushi but we went out on a limb and tried it. We were not disappointed. We were met at the door by Luis and he was the most welcoming host ever. Our waitress Marya was amazing. She was attentive and got our order perfect. She made sure our drink were full and dirty plates were moved as soon as they were finished. The food was perfect! I suggest the ramen and the charolias roll. We will definitely be back. A must...
