Tola Campestre — Restaurant in Cancún

My husband and I stumbled onto this place while on vacation in Cancun and we were sooooo happy we did! The service was excellent, starting off with a tour of the restaurant and explanation of the different foods at the buffet stations. Not your typical buffet either, instead each had a cook making your tacos, flautas, empanadas, etc to order. Everything was so flavorful and true authentic Mexican cuisine. All I have to say is guau! (wow). I can’t imagine there’s a better restaurant in Cancun offering this value. When we arrived, the manager personally greeted us and walked us around the place explaining each station and the variety of food. I was blown away by the selection. They truly have everything you could possibly desire from Mexican cuisine. The buffet style allows you to sample all sorts of dishes. Lastima del lugar muy bonito por cierto y la comida muy rica, pero desde el principio se sintió la descriminacion ya saben mexicanos discriminando mexicanos... Las chicas de la entrada preguntaron si celebramos algo ( le dijiste que un cumpleaños ) preguntaron si era hoy le dijimos que no que había sido hace 3 días y literal dijeron " a ok está lleno el lugar podrían sentarse a esperar en lo que se desocupa una mesa" sin tema alguno con eso, pero nos quedó la incógnita del por qué preguntaron sobre algún festejo .... Las personas que siguieron igual celebraban un cumpleaños y como el de ellos si era este día si le pidieron su credencial y anotaron algo ( nos quitamos del lugar con la misma incógnita) Luego nos dieron una mesa en una área donde hay un chingo de calor y le dije a la chica que no quería esa mesa que podía seguir esperando otra mesa del patio al aire libre sin problema, me regresé afuera, me hecharon su mirada y se encabronaron esa fue la segunda... El servicio del mesero pésimo, ni el bienvenidos, ni las tardes dio, solo dijo "que van a tomar, hay....." En su momento pedi un vaso con hielo en la barra de aguas como a las media hora se dio cuenta el mesero y le empezó a preguntar a sus compañeros y todos con sus miradas hacia la mesa como si me hubiera robado un vaso de agua de algo sin que el lo anotara, en fin; Fuera de todo eso el lugar es bonito la comida, muy rica, vale la pena el precio del buffet, solo incluye un vaso de agua y los siguentes ya es con costo, para visitar una vez...
