Before reading my review just know that I have traveled to different countries before. I have stayed in Italy, france, Greece, Korea, Japan and the Philippines and I have never seen anything like the service in this hotel. I thought the bad reviews were coming from people who don't travel a lot and are in experienced with different hotels BUT NO THAT IS NOT THE CASE. TAKE ALL THE THE BAD REVIEWS SERIOUSLY. THEY ARE TRUE. Rooms 1/5: I stayed on the 13th floor. My room had a balcony with a Jacuzzi facing the water. The view is the only good thing about the room. I don't know how but there's ants in my room all the way on the 13th floor. They come out in the shower and near my bed. The refrigerator never worked. I got food poisoning because i thought my left overs were being properly stored and i found out the hard way that that wasn't the case. The sink is slow to drain. The Jacuzzi isn't well maintained. Despite bringing my own cleaning products and cleaning it myself, the jets in the tub are filled with dirt and particles. The second night here the door system locked me out of my hotel room. The staff couldn't do anything but tell me the system was down. Eventually they had to break down the door. Shit is barely connected to the wall. It all feels like a ploy to not refund the 100USD deposit that was required upon check in. The pool isnt clean. Service 1/5: forget about it. If you want your room cleaned you need to be out of your room by the time house keeping comes. What time is that? I don't know it varies. One day they came early in the morning. Another day they came at 2 in the afternoon. If you want fresh towels, forget about it. There is a severe shortage of towels. I'm staying with my fiance and we have been sharing one towel for 2 days. Every time we ask them for fresh towels they just tell us something to bide time and hope we go away and forget that we need fresh towels. I don't know why when they clean the room they don't put fresh towels. I've never seen anything like it. The website says they have laundry service but we couldn't locate a working washing machine. If you can avoid dealing with the hotel staff on level PB then do it. The guys on level E3 are great. They get shit done. The general hotel staff is helpless. They have no solutions for anyone's problems. Location 3/5: the best thing about this place is the location. When you get food poisoning because you can't properly store your leftovers there is a 24hour pharmacy less than 5 minutes walking. When you get food poisoning there is boring bland American food available in the mall next to the hotel. Overall. This hotel looks great from far away. If your vacation is only 3 days then it is fine for you. If your vacation is 10 days like mine then you will want to leave this hotel early like I am doing. There are no refunds but at this point I will eat my losses for peace of mind.

We stayed at Suites Malecon Cancun for ten days, and honestly, I have very mixed feelings about this place. The hotel itself is a nice building in a very good location. Our suite was very spacious and had all the amenities we might need for a ten-day stay. We also had a washing machine, which was very helpful. The staff were mostly friendly, even though the lady who checked us in didn’t even respond when we said goodbye. That’s not something I genuinely care about. The cleaners were very friendly, however, the daily room cleaning was so inconsistent, which was frustrating. Some days we had a bath rug, but for five days they decided not to give us any. For the whole stay, they didn’t provide us with any soaps, but two days before we left, they suddenly stocked us up with four shampoos, conditioners, and five little soaps. One day, they even forgot to leave us toilet paper. Some days, the floor wasn’t cleaned properly, and over the course of eleven nights, they only changed the bed sheets twice, which for a hotel isn’t ideal, but let’s say that wasn’t the worst part. Nine out of ten towels either had rust stains or were ripped. They also had an unpleasant smell, which made you question the overall cleanliness. Our balcony was disgusting, with debris everywhere, and the glass was so dirty. Overall, the hotel seems abandoned and neglected. They only do the bare minimum, and even that is inconsistent. The swimming pool was so dirty I couldn’t imagine how people were even getting in there. The general outdoor sitting area also looked neglected and dirty. It rained one day, and they didn’t even bother covering the outdoor pillows. Finally, the fact that they say they have a gym is, at best, a joke. Their gym is a small room with rusty equipment, most of which doesn’t work. One of the treadmills was clearly broken, and I honestly believe they found those machines somewhere like 30 years ago, probably in a bin, and decided to call it a gym. Generally, the hotel is good value for money, especially if you get a non-refundable deal. We didn’t want an all-inclusive hotel because we like traveling around, so for us, it was okay in some ways. But the hygiene and cleanliness are major red flags. I wouldn’t go back, and it’s a shame. Last but not least, you might not be able to sleep on some nights due to very loud music coming from nearby venues. We were lucky and had mostly quiet nights, but I think it really depends on the event. P.S. Probably some of you might think I’m over-exaggerating the situation or that I’m just a clean-freak. So I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Disappointing Experience – Left After Two Days I initially planned to stay for six nights but ended up checking out on my second day due to several issues. First and foremost, the room was not clean when I arrived. The building was undergoing exterior work, and as a result, construction debris was all over the balcony. Since I booked this hotel mainly to enjoy time on the balcony, it was extremely disappointing—I didn’t even want to step outside. The entrance to the building felt unsafe, especially as a solo female traveler. It’s located inside a large parking lot, which gave more of an apartment vibe than a hotel feel. While the security guards were present and observant, entering the hotel through a dark parking lot didn’t feel reassuring at all. During my stay, a major festival was happening right across the street, and the music played until 3 AM every night. Getting a good night’s sleep was impossible. The pool looked outdated, and the hotel is far from the beach, making it inconvenient if you're visiting Cancún for a beach vacation. Since the beaches in the area are not very safe, it’s difficult to go swimming alone. If you're planning a relaxing beach trip, this is not the right hotel. To make things worse, the hotel doesn’t even have a restaurant. When booking, I assumed I had opted out of the meal plan, but it turned out there was no on-site dining at all. Having to get ready and leave the hotel just to grab breakfast was far from convenient. Overall, I found the hotel neither clean nor comfortable, so I checked out early and moved to a resort in the Hotel Zone to enjoy the beach and a more peaceful vacation. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a refund, which made the experience even more frustrating. Spending a little more for a resort in the Hotel Zone is definitely worth it. What I Did Like The hotel staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. I didn’t have any issues with them—on the contrary, they were welcoming and kind. One of the security guards (I don’t remember his name, but he often wore a hat) even gave me local recommendations, which I appreciated. However, despite the staff’s kindness, the hotel’s amenities and overall experience were disappointing. Would not recommend.

I need to add that, things were stolen here. I highly recommend that you do not come to this hotel. Two things happened just after one day of stay. First, the balcony door of the room could not be locked, and I was carrying a small child, which was very unsafe. The hotel was afraid of trouble, saying that there were no other rooms, and I changed the room after I insisted that it took more than an hour and a half. And we are already very hungry and will go out very early the next day. The second thing, I hung up the sign that didn't need to clean the room, went back to the hotel and found that my room was in, the garbage was not completely clean, but my personal belongings were all touched and repositioned. . My underwear is wrapped around a hanger, not hanging! I originally hung it, then the hanger was hung on the door handle, the food was put together with some bags, and all the other jewelry and items were repositioned! Isn't the first principle of cleaning the room not to touch personal items, even if it is touched, should it be restored? Then the worst thing came. From the beginning to the end, the hotel staff did not apologize. I didn't hear the word sorry. This is the most excessive! Very unprofessional hotel, very bad feeling!
