El Primo Nava — Restaurant in Ensenada

Dude. I don't write restaurant reviews. But Ensenada restaurants are a complete joke if you like food. Me and my boy left the wive's at the house and stumbled accross this diamond due to a cupcake shop (slammin by the way) dude tipoff. If food ain't good we complain, and we complained a lot in Ensenada. It was our last night and we were pretty upset that every restaurant we ate at was lame. I mean real lame. We tried 5 different places and we not going back to any except this one. They have this mad crazy white seafood soup with cheese on top. They have crazy mad dilish oyster on the half shell. Seafood combos all over the place with flavor, spice, and that thing we call , ooohhh mannnn. That Marlin pate is probably the sickest seafood dish I've had since snails and sugar cane in Dalat Vietnam last year. This place is boss! If you don't know spanish like us just cruise around the gigantic place and just tell the waiter you want what that guy is having. Next time we go to Ensenada we are coming here for dinner 3 nights in a row choosing the ENTIRE menu, you hear me. Seriously good north coastal mexican seafood here. I don't write reviews. But Ensenada restaurant food is LAME! You will waste your time all over this town. The street food is their only salvation, and they all close at 6PM. It's a joke! El Primo Nava will save your trip if your an indoors table and fork foodie. Next stop is Rocco's in TJ Playas on the way home. Some foodies tipped us off...

Veniamos con altas expectativas por recomendacion de conocidos, nos vamos totalmente decepcionados y ni hablar de la relacion calidad- precio horrible, comida desabrida y malas combinaciones de platillos a precios SUPER EXAGERADOS. ¿Regresaria? JAMAS.

Tbh we had high expectatives about this place, we heard that food was delicious and stuff like that, if you’re someone who is not from Mexico, let me tell that even carls jr is so much better (telling you as a mexican citizen), if you are looking for some seafood i’d recommend “Carreta la doña” or “tacos castillo”, dont waste your time and money on this restaurant (if you can call it like that). Pd: The dishes are OVERPRICE and wachout they don’t charge the tip...

04-29-2025 Our friends came here last week. They raved about how delicious the food was. It was our first visit (while on the 4-Day Baja Mexico cruise), second for them. It was as good as they acclaimed. Everything was yummy delicious!

Our server was patient and accommodating. Only draw back, she forgot our order of guacamole; we had to remind her lol.
