DO NOT PAY IN CASH at this restaurant. We read the great reviews and decided to dine here Oct 28. The waiter was very attentive and personable and the view was wonderful. At the end of a great meal we paid our bill in pesos. My husband and I both counted it to ensure we had the right amount plus a 20% tip. The waiter took the cash in the folder and we were preparing to leave. He came to the table and said we were short on the bill. We KNOW we paid the appropriate amount. Since it was getting late, was dark out and we were walking back to the condo, we decided the argument wasn’t worth it since we couldn’t prove it. We ended up paying an extra $300 pesos. The lesson we learned from this is that from now on, if paying in cash, we will count it out with the waiter present at the table instead of putting it in the bill folder and handing it over. What could have been a 5 star review and repeat meals here is now a 1 star review due to the SCAM they pulled....

An excellent Italian restaurant with a nice ambience and spectacular views of Zihuatanejo and the bay. Sunsets are great, but so is the city lit up at night.

As mentioned, very good food and generally large portions - bring your appetite. On more than one occasion, I have requested a special dish be made and they do it with no hesitation and it is always prepared to perfection.

Service is generally very good from all staff.

The only minor issue is how dimly lit the restaurant is at night after the sun sets. The serving staff actually bring you flashlights so that you can read the menu!

We celebrated our first anniversary during our trip to Zihuatanejo. Our taxi driver suggested this place when another we looked at was closed. It was incredible! The wait staff were above and beyond friendly and the view and food are amazing. I ordered the grilled octopus appetizer special as a main course and the waiter offered it readily, allowing me to choose from a variety of side options and sauce. A great personalized experience!
