I had originally planned to go to another place not far from the beach but the area was so noisy and everyone was trying to get you into their place so being solo it was quite overwhelming. If I looked at menu they’d try to get me in so I kept walking…. Then I came across this place and stopped as the music was cool, the gentleman (Miguel) wasn’t pushy and it just looked like a really nice place. I’m so pleased i stopped. Lovely, warm greeting from a gentleman and was seated quickly. A large glass of wine arrived promptly with some snacks which was a nice touch. I ordered the fajitas and they were great.

The crowd here were slightly more mature (I’m 30s so just mean no teenagers) and the vibe was slightly more gentle rock, not my usual choice in music but being here just made me feel relaxed and I loved my evening here. I ordered another glass of wine to just sit and listen to the music.

I will be back before I leave the island. There was a very well stocked bar so will need to try more than wine next time!

Highly recommend the food and wine as well as the atmosphere here. As a solo female I felt really comfortable here.

As I left I was informed they do live music some nights so will definitely be back.

Update - I came back for the live music and it was brilliant. More people need...

The food here was great and reasonably priced. My lobster was a little mangled but tasted fine. The only problem was the drinks. Tasted great, but I ended up extremely drunk on only two drinks, and got very sick afterwards. I’m not sure if that meant they just made the drinks very strong, or if the alcohol was bad, or if tap water was used, like in the ice cubes? I have no idea, it was not an experience I was used to having. Maybe I got sick from something I ate the day before, but I don’t understand why I was so drunk on two drinks. It had been a good...

We randomly stopped through here while strolling through town as the ambience looked nice and there was a wonderful musician performing. Sat at the bar and were served by Miguel himself. Had one of the best pineapple mezcalitas ever… the habanero tequila is out of this world… I love spice and I could barely have a sip but the flavors were phenomenal. Miguel added a tiny bit to our drinks and it was perfection. Had such a great time, great people, space and environment. One of our fave spots...

This place is just pure gold. And to be honest the most underrated place on this Island. Very friendly stuff, served by owner, we had such a long talk about Mexican culture, food, drinks. And to be honest one of the best Margarita #strong and limish :) Definitely you should try also Mezcal and Tequila. They serve these drinks of really good quality as well as their nachos with sauces. Just perfect 🤤 My own recommendation: Margarita with Mezcal, less lime juice and extra chilli tequila in it 👌🏻🍹
