We went at the end of an evening tasting mezcal. Figured one last nightcap. The staff was very nice, and we exchanged jokes about their bad English and our bad Spanish. While we were drinking on the patio, a man walked in and the next thing we knew he sat down by us and started up a conversation. He was curious how we ended up in this bar, since it's mostly locals. We hit it off and talked some about mezcal. Turned out it was his bar, and he introduced himself as Adrian and wanted us to taste his favorite mezcal, a Tepeztate that takes around 25 - 30 years to mature. We were totally overwhelmed by the friendliness and hospitality of Adrian and his staff. If we hadn't been heading home, we'd have gone back. We visit Guadalajara often and Aguita will definitely be one...

One of the best places to have a craft beer and mezcal, they have combos with regular beer such as corona and mezcal at a reasonable price, you can also have a combo with a craft beer. Their service is ok, it used to be better now they have some waiters that would not allow you to move the table if you are a large group, so you have to wait until people leave to get another table we had to be standing up for a while.

The food is very very good, snacks are also great such as the Nachos and taquitos de frijol (bean tacos), the shrimp burrito is my favorite so if you are around town and want to have a great time with mezcal, beer and nice food this is the place to go.
