We were treated with open disrespect for not speaking Spanish, including a blatantly racist comment that was completely unacceptable. One staff member in particular, Aze, seemed to take pride in being rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. Another staff member joined in as well, reinforcing the hostility. This wasn’t just a bad mood — it felt intentional and personal.

To be clear: this does not represent the people of Guadalajara. We’ve had consistently warm, kind, and welcoming experiences everywhere else in the city, even though we were not able to speak Spanish . This coffee shop was the one glaring exception, and it stood out for all the wrong reasons.

If you value respectful service and a welcoming atmosphere, skip this place. Great coffee isn’t worth being treated like you don’t belong.

Manager or owner, I strongly recommend you to read your customers feedbacks, also talk to your employees to re-consider their behaviour and attitude towards the customers. If there is no customer there...

A bustling and busy bakery, but with a confusing process for ordering and paying. From the outside, Banetto looks like an aesthetic, lively bakery, with most tables full and a line of people waiting to order. The experience is a bit unclear—customers go to the counter to order their bread, and if a table is available, the servers will seat you. Despite visiting in the early evening, there was still a limited variety of pastries.

I opted for the monkey bread, which is similar to a cinnamon roll. The portion was small, and the first few bites were disappointing. The bread was a bit hard and didn’t taste fresh. Warming it up would have improved it, but I was told they don’t warm it due to the cream cheese frosting, which was a disappointing response.

Antes que todo, hay que capacitar a su personal en servicio al cliente, el día de ayer domingo fuimos a consumir ya que mi hermana había visto comentarios del lugar y ya con anterioridad había consumido en su establecímiento, nosotros venimos desde Puerto Vallarta y mi hermana con mucha emoción nos llevó a mi tía (señora que por la edad tiene que caminar con bastón) a su familia y a mi, cuando llegamos estaban bastante ocupados por lo que había una fila considerable nos formamos y vimos que una pareja se había levantado de una mesa la cual acababan de ocupar al parecer no los atendieron y se fueron por lo que yo ofrecí a mi tía una de las sillas para que pudiera descansar, se acercó una señorita un poco exaltada para decirnos que esta mesa estaba ocupada, mi hermana le dijo que ya se habían ido y la señorita siguió y nos dijo que a la vuelta había blanquitas para que se sentara mi tía (como vas a hacer a una persona de la tercera edad caminar aún más!!) mi hermana trató de explicarles esta señorita y le contestó “no más no se exalte señora” mi hermana tranquilamente le dijo que ella no lo estaba y le preguntó que si ella si lo estaba, un señor que hacía también fila atrás de mi hermana le dijo a la señorita que lo que le decía mi hermana era cierto y a la señorita no le quedó otra más que dejar que se sentara mi tía. Eso no fue todo ya más adelante en los exhibídores donde tienen el pan un señor que mencionó ser de la CDMX le pregunto a otra de sus colaboradoras que cuál pan les recomendaba y la señorita le contestó (desafortunadamente) que el pan más bueno ya se había acabado el señor preguntó que cómo era ese pan y la señorita le dijo “Para poderle explicar tendría que venir más temprano!” Total 2 a 0, 2 de sus colaboradoras con una muy mala actitud y ya cuando llegamos al área de café, ya fue diferente el joven que nos atendió tenía una mil veces mejor actitud y le mencionamos acerca del comportamiento de sus compañeras a lo que solo pudo encoger los hombros y servirnos amablemente los cafés. Moraleja? Felicidades tienen los mejores crosaints, muffins y el café muy ricos MUY, no quiero saber que tan buenos estaban los panes que si están buenos de verdad y que tenemos que llegar más temprano para obtenerlos!! Hicieron que romper mi dieta valiera la pena!!! De su atención habría que mejorarla por que en una ciudad tan grande donde se habré lugares constantemente y cierran al igual otro tanto su meta a seguir es la EXPERIENCIA que vivan sus clientes !! Si no valieran la pena simplemente ni escribo nada y jamás...
