Cafe Roma — Restaurant in Jalisco

Okay after the vague review I finally went there.. Being summer it was deserted. From the street the Signs states "Husband Babysitter" while the wife goes to the Mercado. The menu was the summer menu... If the Winter menu is as bad... Please do not bother... the 20 Pesos Tacos are 3 Tortillas slightly larger than a US Silver Dollar. the 20 Peso Caesar Salad was about the correct size for a personal salad. the 20 peso wings were technically wings (not recommended). The Pasta we tried both the Fetticene and Fusilli one Marinara the other with Pesto.. Sauces were okay. We bypassed the Pizza 8 inch with cheese... for each Topping it is 20 pesos for each type you want. 30 peso Beer and 60 pesos Margarita What ended up doing was paying 300 pesos for snacks. If you have Walking Problems do not bother... It is a Lot of stairs each step with its own useless little sign.. NO Breeze to cool and Open to the heat... The only thing which was good was the Service The Waiter was attentive and the Kitchen put out food very quickly....

Beautiful atmosphere, but sadly that’s where it all ended for me. It came highly recommended and i was anticipating finally getting to try this place, but sadly it was all around mediocre experience for me. Went on a Saturday, listened to a band and had some food/drinks. The band was entertaining, service slow but nice staff members, and food was just ok. Drinks-they were out of mango, peach, and limes so your only choice for a margarita was strawberry or pineapple. And if you wanted a lime in your beer or any other cocktail, forget about it since they were out of limes! (I almost went to Soriano’s to buy my own!) Pizza was a bit dry and the calzone was too doughy and not thoroughly cooked. This is a cash only establishment as well. I would return to listen to music and drink a beer, if there’s...

This was our first time at Cafe Roma and we will definitely be returning. Staff was great, extremely friendly, outgoing, great service. The pizza was excellent. My only complaint was that for me it had a bit too much cheese. That's why I gave a 4 ☆. I'm sure next time it will be a 5 ☆. When I asked about having less cheese next time they said yes definitely, no problem. I was told to just let them know I want less cheese and they'll do that. Everything you asked for is accommodated. We happened to be there on Karaoke night. I'm not a huge fan but it was fun and we sang along from the safety of our table. I cannot say enough about how friendly, welcoming and accommodating...
