Calmate Cafe — Restaurant in Jalisco

This place is a bit on the pricier side but the meals are filling and delicious AND nicely presented. The service was nice, but the drinks were pretty average. We got the benis eggs Benedict and the tomato + mozzarella sandwich and both were delicious. The matcha frappe was pretty mild and you couldn't really taste the matcha, but if you are someone who likes a matcha that is less intense it could be good for you. The iced latte was decent, but there wasn't enough ice to keep it cool through the meal and otherwise just wasn't my favorite coffee. Overall we would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good meal, and the drinks are not bad...

This morning the place delivered on everything. Ambiance is a cool hole in the wall, with Amazing Service Amazing attention to detail (down to the enameled cups & sauces on the side) Amazing food, at, and on many levels better than a lot of places in Los Angeles 3b. Want it customized... done. 3c. Substitutions... done. Gluten Free, Veggies, Vegan friendly (most of it made on premesis!!!) Including their galletas (🍪 cookies) The best... and I do mean Best Iced Almond Milk Dirty Chai Latte I have ever had 💯

The owner is CA$H, but Mexican Pesos or 🇺🇸 US Dollar.

I wish I could stay in Puerto Vallarta longer so I could try more stuff...

Amazing food!!! Wonderful service,very friendly and professional and bilingual staff all the food is extremely fresh and so delicious I am going to become a regular at Calmate cafe, it has a very organic and beautiful decor very welcoming place I highly recommend trying the rice bowls the omelettes are delish green juices the best!! Can’t wait to go back to try other delicious plates they have some outside seating and dog friendly… prices are extremely reasonable,all the food the highest quality and very fresh it’s was just delicious all around! LOVE THIS...
