Absolutely loved this little shack next to the all-inclusive resort, Barcelo. It's literally 2 mins by walk outside the resort. We went two days in a row for lunch. It's a little family owned restaurant that has been around for 20 years (according to one of the owners). The food was fresh and tasty. We ordered the lobster plate, which came with 5 lobster halves deep fried. They were fresh, juicy, and very tasty. The plate came with rice and vegetables. We also had the mango margarita and guacamole and chips.. again, all great! Except for the flies which are expected by the location, everything was great! Most importantly the prices were very, very reasonable...

This is just right off hwy 200 just past the sign to Hotel Iguana. It is a rustic atmosphere with half the restaurant on a sand floor and the other side cement floor. I had the best Pina colada I ever had and will dream of coming here again for another Pina colada made with fresh coconut and fresh pineapple. We got the lobster combination and it was good but the lobster was tough. It came with breaded fish but we ordered it grilled instead of fried. I ordered vegetable fajitas and they were good but oily. Additionally we ordered guacamole, refried beans and rice; they were all good. I would eat here again and the people working there were all very nice...

My mom and I had a wonderful lunch here. The staff was super friendly, and I was really happy with the food! We weren’t ordering meat that day so we chose items off the “extras”. Avocado, beans, chips, rice. He even brought me some warm tortillas and pico de Galla to add in. I forgot to take a photo of the food when it first came out , it is actually much nicer than what my picture looks as it’s half eaten there. lol. It’s a very “beachy” restaurant even though it is off the beach a bit. We would very recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great little place with good...

Amazing restaurant!! I’m so glad I made this my final dinner before I return to the USA tomorrow. I was warmly greeted upon arrival. There was pleasant music playing in the background. Complimentary chips and pico de gallo were munched on while I waited for my entree. I had the coconut shrimp with mango salsa. The best thing about it was that the coconut was freshly grated and so flavorful. It was accompanied by garden fresh steamed vegetables and rice. Awesome service as well. I will return.
