El Patio — Restaurant in Jalisco

The food here was decent, Everyone at the table seem to find it tasty. The problem lies in the Manager coming back and asking us if we meant to pay only for the actual bill and not leave a tip. We had left a tip we had left an 18% tip. She was 100% convinced the money wasn’t there We were (my sister and I) 100% Convinced we had left a good tip. We were a little stunned by the accusation, but we coughed up another tip I would recommend the Manager check out her employees for any loose fingers To say this was embarrassing, was an understatement It has taught me To always mention to the server, the tip is on the tray. Our party of 4 came here for lunch. The outside is pretty basic as is the inside but the menus is large and the food is good. The floor is concrete, there are a number of glass patio tables and after a man ( owner? ) sat us, a young lady served us. Very little English, but we are all are getting better. Lucky for us, this great local spot is in our neighborhood. We've brought friends with us from other neighborhoods and they've returned to dine again, yes, it's worth the drive. The fish and chicken dishes are delicious and wonderfully prepared. The salads are fresh, everything on the menu is fresh. I've picked up dinner to go several times.
