LOOKING for a relaxing spot to grab breakfast? Look no further than Jardín Cafeto. Located in an older, renovated home, a tranquil ambience makes the perfect setting to chat over chilaquiles. I tried the chilaquiles trivorciados (which literally means a three-way divorce). It is called that because they throw in a sample of all three salsas: red, green, and the in-house variety, which is the spiciest of all. I would say the food was good, but not great. The service was OK, just because the waitress seemed to be on the slow side. But the atmosphere was quite relaxing.

Great location to wait for a friend who was renewing her visa. Friendly staff, food was tasty, and the location was comfortable. I sat outside to enjoy a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the flies ruined my breakfast. Jardin Cafeto also played the worst music I've heard in a long time - elevator music. All English music but remade. I will try this place again, but I will sit inside without the flies and hopefully without the music.

I ordered the chicken cordon blue, that came with a salad, it was crispy and great tasting! I also ordered a cafe de olla, which was amazing, and the tres leches cake... All delicious! Loved the ambiance and the service was impeccable... Will return to try more of their menu items. I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍👍
